The Boys and Girls Club of Boone County is excited to announce the launch of our new summer basketball clinics, aimed at engaging local youth in healthy, active lifestyles. These clinics will provide a fun and educational environment for children to learn and develop their basketball skills, all while fostering teamwork and sportsmanship.
Clinic Details:
The summer basketball clinics will run for five weeks, starting on June 10 and ending on July 26th. They will take place every Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 P.M. at the Whitestown gym. The clinics are open to boys and girls aged 7 to 14, and no prior basketball experience is required.
Program Highlights:
- Experienced coaches and mentors will lead the clinics, focusing on fundamental skills such as dribbling, shooting, passing, and defense.
- Participants will engage in drills and scrimmages designed to improve their basketball abilities and build confidence on the court.
- The clinics will emphasize the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition, instilling valuable life skills in the young athletes.

Registration for the summer basketball clinics is now open and can be completed online through our website. The registration fee is $275 per child, which includes a t-shirt for each participant.
