Thanksgiving Day was filled with excitement and community spirit as participants gathered for the annual Gravy Chase races in Lebanon and Zionsville. The event brought together families, friends, and local businesses to celebrate the holiday with friendly competition while supporting the Boys and Girls Club of Boone County.
Race Winners
The event saw an impressive turnout of runners for the 2 and 4 Mile races in Zionsville and the Lebanon 5K race. Winners received a Gravy Chase medal and a pie from Zionsville’s My Sugar Pie.

Team Winners
Team camaraderie was on full display as groups vied for the new team awards. Eli Lilly & Company took home largest team, Mindy Duffer was the largest individual fundraiser, and Team Gill-ty of Gravy Chasing raised the most funds as a Family & Friends Team.
Event Recap
The festive morning began with music and a vibrant atmosphere as runners and walkers prepared to hit the course. Participants donned Thanksgiving-themed attire, from turkey hats to costumes, adding a touch of fun to the competition.
Post-race, attendees enjoyed refreshments, photo opportunities, and a chance to gather with friends and family at Rush on Main and Klooz Brewz. Community members also rallied around the event’s mission, contributing generously to support youth programs and services provided by the Boys and Girls Club.
