This week, we are excited to celebrate Isabella as our Kid of the Week! Isabella has been a dedicated member of the Boys and Girls Club since 2022, and her journey with us started all the way back in kindergarten. Over the years, she has participated in a variety of programs, growing in skills, fitness, and character. A quiet leader among her friends, Isabella sets a great example for those around her.
At 10 years old, Isabella has already made countless memories at the Club. One of her favorite things to do is participate in activities with her friends, especially during our summer camps. Last year, she attended Water Park Camp, where she had a blast going down the big slides with her friends. She also went to Adventure Camp, where she loved the rock climbing experience at Urban Air.
When thinking about the future, Isabella dreams of becoming either a veterinarian or a chef. She enjoys cooking at home and finds it fun, but she also has a deep love for animals. Her favorite animal? Wolves! She has 13 wolf stuffed animals and even got to see many real wolves during a trip to Alaska.
When asked about her favorite staff members, Isabella couldn’t pick just one—she thinks all the staff are so nice! However, her favorite place at the Club is the Games Room, where she enjoys spending time with different staff members as they rotate throughout the year.
A true math lover, Isabella’s favorite subject is math, and she enjoys helping her younger brother with it. Her patience and knowledge make her a great mentor at home, just like she is at the Club.
Something you might not guess about Isabella? She is an amazing artist! Her absolute favorite thing to do is draw, and she loves using pencils for shading to bring her artwork to life.
