Lebanon Unit

In 1953, the Lebanon Area Boys & Girls Club opened and operated in the old Central School, site of the present day Municipal Building. The Club moved to its current location at 403 W. Main Street in 1961, and a gym was added a year later.

In 1986, the Club purchased an adjacent property and began construction on a new, much larger facility, which opened in 1989.  Today, we serve 130 kids daily and provide meals to an average of 85 kids per day.

Before/After School Care

The Lebanon Unit follows the LCSC calendars for after school care.

Before School Care

Before School Care is available to Club members attending Harney Elementary, Central Elementary, and Stokes Elementary.

Before School Care is available from 6:30am to 8:30am Monday-Friday.

Register for Before School Care

Harney and Central Elementary students are transported via BGC Vans and Stokes students are transported via the Lebanon Community School Corporation (LCSC) bus.

After School Care

After school care is available to Club members attending Lebanon High School, Lebanon Middle School, Central Elementary, Harney Elementary, Perry Worth Elementary and Stokes Elementary.

After School Care is available from 3:00pm – 6:00pm Monday-Friday.

Lebanon High School and Middle School members are picked up via the BGC vehicles, while all of the elementary schools (Central, Harney Perry Worth and Stokes) are transported via the LCSC buses.

Inclement Weather Policy

The Lebanon Unit follows the LCSC schedule.  If LCSC is closed, the Lebanon Unit will also be closed.  If LCSC operates on a 2-hour delay, the Lebanon Unit will open at 6:30am and keep members 2 additional hours until school begins.
